Sometimes the perfect gift is something extraordinary -- beautiful, unique, playful. The Elegant Flyer is just that, a sled built like a piece of fine furniture that trumps everything else on the sledding hill. Each is made of solid fiddleback maple and other select woods (like curly cherry and claro walnut) right here in our Silverton workshop, and each sled is signed and numbered by the sledmaker. The design follows that of the Ultimate Flyer, with patent-pending steering and durable black plastic skids on the bottom. (The sled shown is in the Grogan Fine Art Gallery in Silverton, CO).
The Elegant Flyer meets all ASTM and USC child safety criteria. Please contact us if you'd like a copy of the independent test results.
