The Oak Horse is Featured here in the Safety Stand version, it is also available in a Bow Rocker version, please see below for ordering details. Is this not the king of woods? It is said that oak trees can live 2,000 years. Oak is famous for it's strength, which is why it is perhaps best known for having been used to build England's Navy, from Henry VIII to Nelson. A piece of traditional English oak has great natural beauty. After being carved, planed, limed, bees-waxed and polished it is transformed into an elegant example of fine craftsmanship. The photograph here shows the two choices available: the light oak or the dark, antique variety. Note the beauty of the dark one's face, and the muscle definition in the necks of both animals.
