Both monitor Toy and Children's Product safety, with the EN71's regulated by the CEN (European Committee for Standardization); the ASTM F963 is regulated by ASTM International, which stands for "American Society for Testing and Materials" (www.astm.org). It is a voluntary organization that complied all of the most current laws, regulations and technical bulletins into the most widely accepted testing standards in the US and around the world. Prior to being distributed to the USA, all of the Feber items have passed the strict EN-71, which has 3 parts and includes flammability, mechanical safety, and toxicity (Lead/Heavy Metals testing).
