The Sway 'n Soothe Auto Rocking Bassinet from The First Years features gentle side-to-side rocking motion with the turn of a dial for soothing and calming your infant. The soothing movement features adjustable swing speeds. The continuous, gentle rocking will continue for approximately ten minutes before it automatically shuts off.
A classic lullaby, a lullaby medley, nature sounds and white noise are all musical and sound selections that will help relax and calm your baby when playtime, naptime or bedtime nears. The selected sound will play for between eight to ten minutes and then automatically shut off. If a new button is pressed while a sound is already playing, the timer will reset and the new should will play for approximately eight to ten minutes additional minutes. Each musical or sound offering has a distinctive shaped button for easy use: The diamond shape plays the classic lullaby, the triangle shape plays the lullaby medley, the heart shape plays nature sounds and the star shapes plays white noise.
A soft nightlight, with an easy-to-press off and on feature, gives caregivers the ability to check on their infant without waking them from their restful sleep. The nightlight, if not manually turned off, will dim and then automatically turn off after approximately two minutes.
The convenient removable mattress cover makes clean-up a breeze: just machine-wash, warm on your gentle cycle, no bleach and tumble dry on low (do not iron, please).
Three soft animal friends hang from the top of the canopy, encouraging early visual stimulation as your infant awakens. The large fabric storage basket located underneath the bassinet provides extra storage for all of your babies key essentials. The additional storage pocket keeps those extra little items close at hand. The storage pocket, the storage basket and removable toys are all machine-washable in warm water on the gentle cycle, no bleach, tumble dry on low, (no ironing please). The bassinet wheels are designed to move easily from room to room, and two of the wheels feature lock buttons for stationary use.
